This ServicePack (9927-2346) is for the MicroNet Plus™ Cyber VxWorks Control. The Service Pack will upgrade the 5418-4082 or 5418-6771 Revision New footprint to the 5418-6771 Revision A footprint.
If updating a 5418-4082 Control with this service pack observe the following notices
If the Control does NOT have Cyber Security enabled
- Improves network communications performance by removing SSH/SFTP encryption
- Enables Account Management capability
- Improves flash file system performance for write operations
If the Control has Cyber Security enabled
- Improves flash file system performance for write operations
System Requirements:
AppManager 3.06 or higher, Control Assistant 4.1 or later.
Installation Instructions:
After downloading this file, you will install this service pack using AppManager from your desktop or laptop computer. For instructions on installing the service pack, refer to the AppManager help. AppManager Help is started under the Help menu.For systems that have expansion chassis it is important that both the CPU and the RTN modules have the same footprint part number and revision. For instructions on installing the service pack on an RTN, please refer to AppManager help
If updating a 5418-4082 Control with this service pack, observe the following instructions
Special Instructions:
- If installing this Service Pack using the AppManager RTN Browser function you must install the Service Pack on all of the RTNs before installing it on the main CPU you are connecting to the RTNs through. If the main CPU is updated first you will no longer be able to connect to the RTNs due to the change in communication protocol (removing SSH/SFTP encryption)
- Installing this service pack on a Micronet+ Cyber Ready (not licensed for Cyber) effectively changes the part number from a 5466-1045 to 5466-1245. You should call your customer service representative to notify them that the serial number history must be updated.
- Installing this service pack on a Micronet+ Cyber Enabled (Licensed for Cyber) effectively changes the part number to 5466-1145. You should call your customer service representative to notify them that the serial number history must be updated.
